Counselling, Healing Trauma & Mindfulness
What We Offer
I provide Mindfulness group and one-one sessions. Vipassana meditation is a form of mindfulness that comes from the original teachings of the Buddha but can be found in all cultures.
I accept self-referrals from adults, and work with a number of issues including loss, anxiety, separation and belonging. I offer a free 15 minute introductory telephone conversation to discuss how I can help.
I work with couples who are struggling with their communication and relationship breakdown, or post-divorce communication. I work with ‘Emotional focused therapy’.

What my clients say
Zoe
“William was my counsellor for 18 sessions. I was extremely closed off for the first few sessions from a betrayal trauma. William was so gifted at making me feel at ease and that our sessions were a safe place to share & unpack my trauma.
We also regularly mediated which helped me relax into each session. I was also given homework! Articles to read and learn from between sessions.
After our time ended, I’ve carried on meditating and journaling.
I would recommend William in a heartbeat.”

“I have worked with a number of people throughout the years and William was the first therapist I had come across using the forgiveness model, which I had never thought would be part of the solution to my long-standing addiction problem.
Having an absent father in my life was not something I was expecting to cause me so much pain so many years later. Through the mindfulness practices, journaling and 2 years of therapy I’m finally feeling a release from my fear of feeling unwanted and unloved.”

“William helped me through a very difficult time in my life in 2022. I was suicidal and my marriage was falling slowly off a cliff. William helped guide me through some dark days and pulled me out the other side.
With his guidance, I have turned everything around 180 degrees and I’m now looking at life afresh. My marriage did end, but my life continues anew and I’m happier than I’ve been in years.
William’s interventions, alongside other changes I made in my lifestyle, have made me well again – better than I’ve been for many years.
I will be forever in his debt.”

“We lost our little girl ten years ago and I have not been to grieve. I thought that if I cried and let go that she would be forgotten. I have realised that moving on and beginning again doesn’t mean forgetting. And that it’s the life she would have wanted for me. It has been a challenging road; and I can now actually smell the roses and notice the sun rise.
I’m very grateful to William.”

“I have worked with William for 4 years and lost both my elderly parents to covid, in addition to losing my job and home.
I went through a mid-life crisis and never thought I would recover. William provided a safe refuge, hope and a light at the end of the tunnel.
I’m very grateful for his skill and range of wisdom and knowledge.”
